Drive from Haridwar to Joshimath (approx. 260-290 km, 8-9 hours).
Drive to Govindghat, then trek 14 km to Ghangharia (base camp)
Day trek from Ghangharia to Hemkund Sahib and back
Optional side trek to the Valley of Flowers or rest day in Ghangharia.
Trek back down to Govindghat and drive back to Joshimath or Rudraprayag.
Drive back from Joshimath/Rudraprayag to Haridwar for departure
