Some journey are planned for adventure Some are planned for a beautiful pictures and then there are journey where, somewhere along the way, you started looking for something with yourself. For me, Tungnath was that kind of journey So I took a trip last week to tungnath with justravels. who I can trust more than my ex boyfriend huh, but ya justravels makes your trip more easy, hussle free, more adventure, happening and who wouldn't love this trip. So the trip began with the beautiful mountains, roads leading towards chopta. As we moved higher, the surroundings slowly changed. the noise of the city disappeard, the air became colder, and I could see mountains, forest and endless skies. There was something peaceful about chopta that I couldn't really explain. it didn't feel like I had simply arrived at another travel destination. it felt like I had left behind all the unnecessary noise of every day life. The next morning, we started the trek towards thungnath. initially, I was excited. I thought the trek would be easy because the distance from chota to tungnath isn't very long. But after walking for some time, I realised that the mountains have their own way of teaching you patience. The climb started becoming tiring. My legs were hurting, my breathing became heavier, and there were moments when I genuinely wanted to stop. But every time I looked back, there was another beautiful view waiting for me. The mountains looked different from every turn. Sometimes the clouds came close, sometimes the sky opened up completely, and sometimes there was just silence. And honestly the silence was my favourite part. There were people around me, but somehow I still felt alone with my thoughts. I started thinking about things I normally don't have time to think about. Life, people, my own choices , the things I worry about unnecessarily..... Maybe that's what makes a spiritual journey different. You don't necessarily need a big revelation. Sometimes you just need enough silence to hear your own thoughts. Along the way, there were small places to stop, rest and have something warm. After walking in the cold, even a simple cup of chai felt special. These little moments became part of the journey too. And then, after all that walking, I finally saw Tungnath temple. The temple standing quietly among the mountains felt almost unreal. knowing that tungnath is one of the sacred panch Kedar temples. For a few minutes, I wasn't thinking about taking pictures or posting anything. I was just there and maybe that was the most spiritual part of the entire journey. shoutout to the tea of justravels the trip was perfect , and a feeling of peace I didn't expected. The stay was cozy and comforting. and yes, I can't wait to go on another trip.
